Dakota graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science in physiology. She worked for 4 years in human emergency medicine before following her heart to veterinary medicine. She has a special interest in exotics, and spends her free time as an animal care volunteer at Miller Park Zoo. Someday she hopes to have DVM behind her name!
