Jennifer Rojas-Watkins

Dr. Rojas-Watkins joined the Northgate Staff in the spring of 2006. She has enjoyed her time at Northgate treating cats and dogs as well as pocket pets. She lives in Macon County with her family, and has an extra soft spot in her heart for black labs, beagles, and white cats with blue eyes because she had one of each! Dr. Rojas recently completed and intensive course of training in animal acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Veterinary Acupuncture and continues to study Chinese herbal medicine. She wishes to use her skills as a supplemental benefit for her patients when conventional Western medicine is not enough. Dr. Rojas has received advanced training in Small Animal Abdominal Ultrasound. In the fall of 2011 she earned certification to perform the TTA procedure for the advanced surgical repair of canine cruciate ligament injuries. She is also chairperson for the Buddy Fund, a fund set up to help established clients pay for care when extensive work is required after a diagnosis.
