Melissa joined the Northgate team in March 2018. She was a zookeeper for 10 years, has worked at stables, farms, animal clinics, and various other animal related facilities. She is married and has three children; a son and 2 daughters. She also has a rescued old english/staffie fur baby, a belgian malinois and a chinchilla.
